I’m Marrian James, a photographer and creative director drawn to people, intimate moments and the quiet tension between closeness and distance. My work explores longing, desire and human presence through cinematic light, colour and carefully observed gestures.

Photography is where I work most instinctively. I’m interested in images that feel lived rather than performed—fragments of skin, movement, places and relationships that hold something unresolved. The work moves between portraiture, personal archive and visual storytelling.

un.archived is an evolving home for these images - a space for ongoing series, individual photographs and collaborations. I’m available for editorial and brand commissions, portraits, exhibitions and publishing projects.
